Marvel Comics is a comic book company founded in 1939. Today, Marvel Studios, a subsidiary of Marvel Comics, produces numerous films inspired by these comics and their supporting characters. With their rapidly growing popularity in recent years, Marvel movies have filled cinemas worldwide and are mainly set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The MCU is a shared universe of stories and locations in which characters from Marvel Comics are brought to life through interconnected narratives and various storylines.
